Preggers Nightmare

Being preggers myself, watching those moms-to-be protesting on street really brought tears in my eyes. Can't believe that the HK government is so useless when it comes to control the situation. It's tough enough to be a mom and yet still have to deal with this kind of unnecessary pressure, it's just simply ridiculous.

As unaware and slow as I am, I didn't even know how serious was the situation coz I always have my plan ie. doing my checkups with private OB in HK and giving birth in Perth if everything goes smoothly. Now it looks like if this plan doesn't go through, I don't really have a Plan B.

Apparently for private hospitals, you're not guaranteed a place if you go for natural birth. Of course if you don't mind paying triple the costs, there might be a first class room vacant. Otherwise it will just depend on your luck.

I have no idea about the public hospital, but hearing those cases like sleeping in the corridor, sharing the birthing suite, insufficient care scare me enough that I won't be bother thinking about it.

For me, I just hope that my baby is all healthy and well so I don't even have to consider a plan B. Wish me luck!
