Changes Changes...

There are so many changes with just a few weeks...

Moving
With the flight and big move scare, we finally decided to stay put in HK for now. With the rental lease already expired, there were not much time left for apartment search. Luckily we found a nice one just a block away from our old one, we signed the lease right after we saw it and moved in the week after...now we're kind of settled in and just have to wait for some of the new furniture to be delivered.

Baby
Baby is into her 33 weeks now...only 7 more to go. With the decision to stay in HK, hospital booking is probably the first priority considering the current situation and booking is also required with natual birth. My doctor associates with 3 different hospitals...
Hospital 1: fully booked until May
Hospital 2: Not so nice, heard not so good experience from friends
Hospital 3: Nice environment, recently had a big increase on maternity fees
It doesn't really leave me with options, does it? I picked hospital#3 and hopefully I won't faint when I receive the final hospital bill.

Work
Reached the breaking point and fired the newly hired assistant. He asked if it's fair to have him evaluated for just 10 days. What is fair anyway? If you can't do it, you can't. No time for hand holding and no room for too many mistakes. Sorry but that's the real world! Offered him a month's notice so he can have time to look for another job while getting paid. With all the pride and maybe he doesn't have to worry about the living, he insisted to leave right away..oh well. That means I'm back to the same old...
